Constance Craik, “the watercolor witch”, is an illustration artist and housing advocate in Burlington, Vermont. She operates on either line of horror and fantasy. Inspired by the folklore, occultism, religion, mythology, nature, desire, and the tenacity of the artists who’ve come before her; Constance’s pieces range from optimistically suggestive to slightly disturbed. She primarily works with watercolor and gouache, employing a whimsical, dark, and spunky illustrative style. Constance currently works fulltime in housing programs, and relishes every time her two greatest passions of art and housing meet.
